Daniel is an Intellectual property and commercialisation expert,  working with inventors and R&D teams, who are struggling to get traction in their projects.


Many entrepreneurs and businesses have brilliant ideas, but are not able to actually create significant profits, as they typically don't know exactly what to do.

In the IP and Commercialisation industry, many innovators need to overcome what Daniel has identified as the 6 major roadblocks in the commercialisation process. Most IP projects that don't overcome these 6, usually meet with failure, or "lack of significant opportunity", and are put back on the shelf.

Using a methodology that has undergone more than 20 years of research and a state-of-the-art assessment instrument, I work with these clients to identify where they excel or breakdown in the innovation process. 

Daniel has spent 30 years in the commercialisation of intellectual property and has worked with innovation teams across Asia, America and Australia. He is a published author (his latest hard-cover book is available at www.billion-dollar-napkin.com) and he is Consultant Principal of the on-line coaching and mentoring group Incubate-IP. Daniel is a member of the UN Task Force on Innovation and Competitiveness and has created a 6-week on-line training course for Innovators who have great ideas which have stalled in the commercialisation process. He has been invited to the Board of the International Federation of Inventors Associations and is active in the International GroupSkyQuest, which is a global network for IP trading. Online business, for most people, is not fun anymore. We take it far to seriously, and yes, we even take ourselves way to seriously. 'We've lost the edge', as Goose would always say. Maybe we should all just go back to truck driving school.

Matt Giovanisci is tired of the old dogs of online, and is bringing sunshine, rainbows and even unicorns to online. Not in a magical, mystical kind of way, but in a rather, 'let's have some fun while we get some real sh*t done'.
